What Are the Changes in DLM v1.2

New Features
  • New Device Event - Cellular Signal Drop Detected
Added a new device event Cellular Signal Drop Detected, triggered when RSRP drops by more than 20 dB from the previous sample. This event is also available in the Event Notification selection list.
  • New Device Event - CPU Temperature Too High
Added a new device event CPU Temperature Too High, triggered when the CPU temperature reaches the threshold defined in user.yaml. This event is also available in the Event Notification selection list.
  • Daily Pending-Approval Reminder Email
All Admin users now receive a daily reminder email when there are devices pending approval in the project.

Enhancements
  • Ubuntu 24.04 Support
DLM Server now supports Ubuntu 24.04 as the host operating system.
  • Expanded Cellular Performance Report
The cellular performance report now includes the following new fields:
    • Cellular Technology (e.g., 3G, 4G, 5G NR)
    • Active SIM Slot
    • APN
    • PCI
    • eNB
    • ECI
    • EARFNC
  • Console Output for Script Executions
Script execution results now capture and display Console Output for all runs, regardless of success or failure. Previously, console output was only available for failed executions.
  • Improved Event Notification Email
Event notification emails now include the event name and project name in the subject line, and provide richer device information to help users identify the affected device at a glance.
    • Subject: [DLM Notification] {Event Name}: {Device Display Name} ({Project Name}). If no display name is configured, the device serial number is shown.
    • Body now includes a direct login link to the DLM web console.
  • Event Logs - Separated Columns and Quick Time Filters
The Source and Username fields in Event Logs have been separated into two independent columns, each with its own filter. Quick time filters have been added to show logs from the past 8, 12, or 24 hours.
  • License Activation Code - Trailing Space Tolerance
License activation code validation now automatically removes unintended trailing spaces before processing.

Bug Fixes
  • Certificate Auto Re-enrollment After Expiration
Connection certificates have a 12-month lifetime. When fewer than 90 days remain, DLM Server notifies the device to initiate renewal. If a device remains offline throughout the final 90-day window and reconnects after the certificate has expired, it is designed to automatically re-enroll using the credentials from the original registration. This auto re-enrollment did not work correctly and has been fixed.
Note: This fix requires updating both DLM Server and DLM Agent. The user account and password used during the original device registration must still exist on the DLM Server for auto re-enrollment to succeed.
  • Removed Duplicate Events from Event Notification List
Removed two redundant entries - eMMC near end-of-life and eMMC end-of-life reached - from the Event Notification selection list. The correct events are Storage near end-of-life (90?100% used) and Storage end-of-life reached (100%+ lifetime used).
  • "Set Default Location" on Device Location Map Not Working
Fixed an issue where the Set Default Location feature on the Device Location Map in the project dashboard did not function correctly.

Changes
  • Delete Device Restricted to Admin Role
The Delete Device action is now restricted to Admin-role users. Previously, Supervisor-role users could also delete devices, which could result in devices being unable to automatically reconnect to the DLM Server after accidental deletion.
